End-to-End Audit £1,499 one-off

Test what happens between a customer action and the result in your reports.

We review the configuration, run agreed customer-journey tests and examine how data reaches your analytics, advertising and connected business systems. You receive evidence-backed findings, a prioritised action plan and a walkthrough of the results.

End-to-End Audit

Go beyond "the tag is installed"

A form, checkout or booking journey can involve several systems. This audit examines the connections as well as the individual settings, so the findings relate to the outcome you’re trying to measure.

Choose it when conversions appear missing or duplicated, revenue reports raise questions, a third-party journey creates uncertainty, or a configuration review isn’t enough to explain the problem.

What we review and test

Areas we review and test within the agreed scope

Business goals and measurement coverage

We define the important outcomes and the questions your reports need to answer. We check for missing requirements as well as problems in tracking that already exists.

GA4 and Google Tag Manager

We review relevant GA4 settings, events, key events, custom definitions and reporting configuration, together with GTM tags, triggers and variables. Practical tests examine the website data and signals used by the agreed journeys.

Conversion journeys

We test the agreed enquiries, purchases, bookings or other actions — successful completion, unsuccessful attempts, repeated interactions, and journeys on agreed devices or across relevant domains and embedded tools.

Not just whether something fires — whether it produces the right record, values and identifiers without duplication.

Advertising and attribution measurement

We assess relevant conversion destinations, campaign information and source handling, and separate measurement faults from differences in definitions or attribution.

A review of measurement — not advertising creative, bidding or media-buying strategy.

Ecommerce, affiliate and CRM connections

For ecommerce, we examine checkout, purchase, transaction-value and refund measurement. For affiliate or CRM systems, we examine agreed identifiers, conversion records and outcome flows using the available evidence.

Consent-related behaviour

We compare observed tracking behaviour with the agreed consent configuration, including acceptance, refusal and preference-change scenarios, and identify technical inconsistencies.

The audit is not legal certification.

Reporting readiness

We check whether the resulting data supports your agreed questions, distinguishing data sent from the website, data received by a destination and data available in processed reports.

A platform still processing data is stated as a status, not treated as a pass.

We review the systems involved in the agreed business journey together. You don’t purchase another audit merely because that journey also uses GTM, ecommerce or a connected platform.

What you receive

Evidence, a roadmap, and a walkthrough

1. An executive summary

A plain-English explanation of what works, what’s uncertain and which issues deserve attention first.

2. An evidence-backed findings register

Each finding records what was observed, the supporting evidence, the affected measurement, the recommended correction and its priority.

3. A measurement map and roadmap

A view of the systems and steps in the agreed journey, the changes needed, who needs to act, and any development dependency.

4. A results walkthrough

We explain the findings and recommended order of work, so you can decide and brief the people responsible for implementation.

How we carry out the audit

From scope to a walkthrough, in four steps

01

We establish the website, connected platforms, customer journeys and reporting questions, and confirm access, dependencies and expected outputs before work begins.

Agree the goals and test scope

02

We agree how to handle test leads, purchases, bookings and any systems that could trigger customer communications or fulfilment. Staging, test modes and labelled test records are used where appropriate.

Plan controlled tests

03

We review the configuration, carry out the agreed tests and compare the evidence across the accessible destinations. Missing access and unavailable downstream records are reported as limitations.

Follow the data

04

You receive the findings and roadmap, followed by a walkthrough. Your existing team can implement the recommendations, or you can discuss implementation with us.

Explain the results

Scope

A complete review, with a clear boundary

The £1,499 fee covers the agreed review and testing, not an unlimited rebuild. Fixes, new integrations and ongoing management are separate.

We agree the business environment before purchase. Connected systems in the agreed journey are considered together; genuinely separate businesses or independent website estates need their own scope confirmed in advance.

Neither this audit nor the access provided for it authorises live configuration changes. Any implementation requires separate approval.

Frequently asked questions

Questions before you enquire

A. The Read-Only Audit reviews existing configuration and available reports. This service adds practical customer-journey testing, destination checks, a fuller evidence record and a results walkthrough.

A. Relevant ecommerce checks are part of the agreed end-to-end audit, not a separate ecommerce tier. We confirm the store, checkout and related systems in scope before starting.

A. Where the agreed scope includes accessible CRM or sales records and usable identifiers, we examine that connection. Where those records are unavailable, we explain the gap rather than claiming to have verified revenue or lead quality.

A. That’s not the purpose of the audit. We explain material differences and identify faults, while recognising that platforms may apply different measurement and reporting rules.

A. Some tests can create records in business systems. We agree the test approach and handling in advance, including any purchases, notifications or cleanup that need authorisation.

A. No. The recommendations are designed to support a decision and implementation, whether carried out by your own team, another agency or us.
